New Year! New Job! Tech Giveaway Official Rules and Details

Giveaway Overview

• Event Name: New Year! New Job! Tech Giveaway
• Organizer: Hired In Michigan
• Dates: December 21, 2024, to January 1, 2025
• Number of Winners: One (1) winner will be selected each day for a total of twelve (12) winners.
• Prize: One (1) desktop computer or laptop per winner.

Eligibility

To participate, you must:

• Be a legal resident of Michigan.
• Be 18 years or older at the time of entry.
• Be able to pick up the prize in person from our designated location in Oakland County, Michigan (details provided to winners).
• Meet all entry requirements outlined below.

Employees, contractors, and affiliates of Hired In Michigan and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

How to Enter

To be eligible for the giveaway, participants must complete the following steps:

Follow Hired In Michigan on the following social media platforms:

• LinkedIn
• Facebook
• TikTok
• Twitter - x
• Instagram

Create and Post a Video Resume on ALL five platforms:

• Share your career goals and explain why you need the computer.
• Include your email address in the video to allow employers to contact you.
• Use the hashtag #HiredInMichigan in your post and tag @HiredInMichigan on all platforms video post. The video must be posted on six social media platforms this include LinkedIn,  Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram.

Eligibility Confirmation: You must verify that you meet the residency and prize pick-up requirements.

Winner Selection

Winners will be selected daily by a panel of judges from Hired In Michigan based on:

• Creativity and effort in the video resume.
• Relevance to the giveaway theme (career goals and need for the computer).

Announcement Timing:

• Winners will be announced daily on Hired In Michigan’s social media pages.
• The final winner will be announced on January 1, 2025.

Prize Pickup:

• Winners will be contacted via the email provided in their video post.
• Instructions for prize pickup will be shared directly with the winner.
• Prizes must be claimed within 7 days of notification.

Rules and Conditions

• One Entry Per Person: Multiple entries will result in disqualification.
• Content Ownership: By entering, you grant Hired In Michigan permission to repost your video resume on its social media platforms and website.
• Prize Non-Transferable: The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or other items.
• Valid Entry Required: Entries not posted on all required platforms or that fail to tag @HiredInMichigan and use the hashtag #HiredInMichigan will be deemed invalid.
• No Purchase Necessary: This giveaway is free to enter, and no purchase is required.
