Crawford Media-Detroit currently has an opening for the position of Salesperson for WMUZ. This position requires someone who is self-motivated. 

If you are a self-starter with lots of experience in outside sales, then we would like to hear from you. 

You should be very confident about cold calling and setting appointments, passionate about selling, well organized, have a dynamic passion for growing businesses and be able to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

FULL-TIME WRITER PRODUCER(S)

WMUZ-AM/WMUZ-FM/WCHB-AM/WRDT-AM RADIO – DETROIT, MI

Crawford Media-Detroit is always looking for the ideal candidate who processes demonstrable commercial writing skills, audio production skills, talent for voice work, and interpersonal skills. This position requires a certain level of “sales” skill, in the sense that our Writer Producers work directly with our clients, and don’t depend entirely on an intermediary such as a sales rep or account executive.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Write, produce, & voice commercials for direct retail clients
• Write and produce promotional announcements, liners & imaging for station(s).
• Work in concert with Account Executive to develop results producing ad campaign for our clients.
• Position requires direct contact with clients and prospective clients. This is not a remote position.
• Learn our proprietary process for securing and developing long-term advertising campaigns.
• Be required to know, understand and properly execute this process in his/her role as Writer Producer.
