Hired In Michigan Launches “New Year! New Job! Tech Giveaway” to Empower Job Seekers Across Michigan

Southfield, MI – As the new year approaches, Hired In Michigan is making headlines with a bold initiative to empower job seekers by giving away one desktop computer per day from December 21, 2024, through January 1, 2025. 

The “New Year! New Job! Tech Giveaway” aims to equip Michigan residents with the tools they need to succeed in today’s competitive job market. This groundbreaking initiative addresses a growing issue—access to technology for job seekers who lack the resources to apply for jobs, attend virtual interviews, or upskill online. With unemployment rates fluctuating and technology becoming essential for career advancement, this giveaway promises to have a lasting impact on Michigan’s workforce.

A Giveaway With a Mission 

“Access to a reliable computer is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity,” said CJ Eason, President of Community Outreach for Hired In Michigan. 

“We want to ensure that every job seeker in Michigan has a fair shot at success in 2025. This isn’t just a giveaway; it’s an opportunity for transformation.”

How It Works 

To enter the giveaway, participants must: 

1. Follow Hired In Michigan on LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram. 
2. Create and post a video resume on ALL platforms, sharing their career goals, why they need the computer, and their email address for employers to contact them. 
3. Tag @HiredInMichigan and use the hashtag #HiredInMichigan in their posts. 

Winners will be selected daily based on creativity, effort, and alignment with the giveaway’s mission. 

All participants must reside in Michigan and be able to pick up their prize in person.
